Project Description:
The work consists of the rehabilitation of sludge thickening complexes A and B, sludge storage tanks No(s). 5 and 6 and their associated control buildings, pipe galleries and surrounding site work.  The specific tasks include replacement of the sludge collection rake arm systems for each gravity thickener; replacement and reconfiguration of the sludge process pumping and piping system in complex A; addition of new swing underflow pumps in Complex B, construction of new control building structure for a new sludge mixing system for sludge storage tank No(s). 5 and 6; replacement of the HVAC systems for both complexes; complete redo of the electrical, control/instrumentation systems and structural upgrades throughout the complexes; upgrade of the site landscaping and access roads for both complexes.
