Project Description:
DCI/Wolverine, JV (a joint venture of Detroit Contracting, Inc. and Wolverine Construction, Inc.) contracted with DWSD to provide all equipment, labor, materials and services for installation and start-up of a new electrical and control system for DWSD. This project includes a new Electrical Building that shall house the new drive and distribution equipment, a new set of emergency engine generators and replacement of electrical equipment inside the existing pump station. The work also includes site drainage, grading and paving improvements and a new masonry facing on the existing Pump Station Head House, Furnish, install and make functional new substation, electrical building, conduit tunnel, transformers, switchgear, variable frequency drives, starters, motors, pumps, cone valves, power emergency generators, control, ovation system, modifications, fire alarms, security, relocation of 75’ light pole with antenna, record drawings, photographs, training, testing and operations and maintenance manuals. The work shall be staged so that the Schoolcraft Pump Station remains in service during the work.
