 Project Description:
White/DCI, JV (a joint venture of White Construction, Inc. and Detroit Contracting, Inc.) contracted with DWSD to design, build and place in operation critical improvements to the Northeast Water Treatment Plant Pumping Facilities in the High Lift and Low Lift Pumping Stations.
Low Lift PS – Refurbishment of gate valves, new sump pumps, Vacuum priming system and Electric operators.
 High Lift PS – Refurbishment of one 52 MGD Pump No. 15 and 3000 HP Motor, refurbishment of butterfly valve, cone valves and gate valves. New butterfly valves, cone valves, gate valves and valve operators; replacement of sump pumps and vacuum priming system, replacement of dehumidification system; header piping repair/ replacement/ painting; lead paint and asbestos abatement.
